Understanding Dreams

I had a thought last night relative to dreams and consciousness. I suppose it does not directly tie into the readings but I definitely felt it worthy of noting, at least for myself. Maybe our dreams are running constantly… Even when we are awake decisions and scenarios are running through our heads – “What if this happens?”… “What would I do if this happened right now?” Maybe at night when there is no input or output from exterior sources and we are left to our own devices, we are able to focus on those “random” situations that manifest in our dreams as ‘practice’ for encountering situations when we are awake.Taking it further, maybe that is how déjà vu manifests. So many random associations and deductions are happening in our minds on a constant basis that surely we have encountered certain scenarios in our heads or in our dreams that would parallel circumstances in our daily lives. Hmmm…
